Fish baked with potatoes is a great option for a family dinner. These two components work well together. The dish turns out to be not only very tasty, but also healthy. After all, fish has a lot of necessary trace elements and vitamins for the body. If you have an oven, cooking such a fish will not be difficult.

- - moderately fatty fish (fillet) - 800 g;
- - medium-sized potatoes - 10 pcs.;
- - onions - 2 pcs.;
- - sour cream with a fat content of 10% - 250 ml;
- - milk - 300 ml;
- - flour - 2 tbsp. l.;
- - hard cheese - 100 g;
- - tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - ground black pepper;
- - salt;
- - sunflower oil for frying;
- - baking dish.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and rinse potatoes and onions. Take a saucepan, put potatoes in it, add water, bring to a boil and cook at moderate temperature until half cooked. As a result, the potatoes should remain slightly undercooked. The water must first be slightly salted. Then drain it from the saucepan, and remove the potatoes to cool.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion or grate it. Pour some sunflower oil into the pan. When it's hot, add the chopped onion and fry until transparent, about 5 minutes. Add flour to the onion, stir and fry for another minute.
Step 3
Put sour cream and tomato paste in the onion-flour mass. Simmer everything together for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. After that, pour in the milk, add black pepper, salt to taste and simmer the sauce for a couple of minutes.
Step 4
Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 220 degrees. While it is heating up, grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. Cut the cooled potatoes into plates and put them on the bottom of the mold in an even layer. Rinse the fish and cut into portions. Alternatively, you can leave it intact by making several deep cuts.
Step 5
Pour the milk sauce over the fish and potatoes and place the mold in the preheated oven for 40 minutes to bake. 10 minutes before the end of the time, grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Remove the baking pan and sprinkle it over the fish evenly, then cook until golden brown.
