Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • Mayonnaise (homemade);
  • 70 g of unscented sunflower oil;
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper;
  • 1 tsp ground coriander;
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. The first thing you need to do is prepare the potatoes. It is peeled, washed and cut into strips with a sharp knife. In this case, the pieces should not turn out to be too thick.
  2. Then remove the peel from the garlic cloves and chop them with a garlic press. If not, then they can simply be cut into very small pieces.
  3. After that, vegetable oil is poured into a baking dish, which should be deep enough. Then prepared potatoes and chopped garlic are poured into it. Put salt, pepper and coriander there (the amount can be adjusted to your taste, as well as add other spices).
  4. The contents of the container are mixed well. Then it should be covered tightly enough and put in a cool place for half an hour. The fact is that the potatoes must be thoroughly saturated with spices so that the taste of the finished dish turns out to be more intense. In this case, the potatoes should be mixed at least 3 times in 30 minutes.
  5. When the specified time has passed, the contents in the form should be leveled and a net of mayonnaise should be applied to its surface (with homemade sauce, the dish turns out to be much tastier).
  6. Then, in an oven heated to 200 degrees, you need to put potatoes. There it will be baked for half an hour, maybe a little longer. Checking it for readiness is quite simple. Take a plug and try to pierce it. If you do this without much effort, then the dish can be considered ready.
  7. To make the potatoes cook much faster, you need to lay them out in such a way that the layer is not very thick. The most delicious dish is ready and can be served at the table.
