Potato casserole is a dish that you can prepare when you are pressed for time and money. In addition, it is less harmful than regular fried potatoes. There are many variations of this dish, such as making a casserole with cheese.

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the cheese mass. To do this, grate cheese of any kind on a coarse grater. Add vegetable oil to it, if you have olive oil, use it, as it is healthier (improves the functioning of the digestive tract). Add 100 g of sour cream to the same mass, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 2
Take a few medium sized potatoes, peel, blend or grate. You can also pre-boil the vegetables by making mashed potatoes after that (do not forget to salt it).
Step 3
Peel the onion. Chop it finely and fry in olive or vegetable oil until golden brown. Then chop the mushrooms finely.
Step 4
Mix mashed potatoes or fresh vegetables with 1/3 of the cheese mass. Add sautéed onions and two raw eggs. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 5
Put foil on the bottom of the baking dish, brush it thoroughly with vegetable oil. After that, lay out half of the potato-cheese mass, place the mushrooms on top, sprinkle everything with a part of the grated cheese. Add the rest of the mashed potatoes, sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. To make your masterpiece more juicy, brush it with sour cream on top. If you want a flavorful casserole, you can add some garlic and a sprig of rosemary to it.

Remember, to make the potato casserole tastier, you need to put it in a preheated oven (150-220 ° C). Bake the dish for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
