Delicate dish of baked potatoes combined with fish fillets. The dish is dressed with egg sauce, which gives the fish pieces a special flavor. This dish is a great option for a quiet family dinner.
It is necessary
- - 600 g of lightly salted herring fillet;
- - 1 kg of potatoes;
- - 300 g onions;
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sunflower oil;
- - 300 ml sour cream;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 30 g of dill.
- For the egg sauce:
- - 50 g butter;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 150 g of onions;
- - ½ part of lemon;
- - 25 g of dill.
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the fillet of salted Norwegian herring in diluted milk with water for 12-14 hours. Cut the soaked herring fillets into large slices.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes. Chop the onion and dill into small slices, prepare the potatoes in the form of thin round slices - balls. Fry chopped onions in a hot skillet. Knock down eggs to coat casserole balls.
Step 3
Coat a baking sheet or baking dish with sunflower oil, put balls of potatoes and herring on it. Each ball must be greased with a beaten egg. Sprinkle the casserole in the baking dish with chopped onion and dill slices.
Step 4
The last bowl of potatoes is well smeared with an egg, pour sour cream on top. Heat the oven and bake the casserole for 25-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Step 5
Prepare the sauce: boil the eggs. Cut the eggs into large pieces. Melt butter in a frying pan, add lemon juice. Peel and dice the onion, heat it a little in melted butter. Combine with chopped egg and dill. Place the casserole on a platter and top with the sauce.
