Squid dishes were very popular in ancient Greece and Rome. Squids are a great delicacy. When preparing stuffed squid, the meat turns out to be tender, juicy and tasty, and most importantly, it retains its useful properties.

- Squid - 2 pcs. (0.5 kg each).
- for minced meat:
- bread (stale) - 0.2 kg.;
- milk - 250 ml.;
- onions - 30 gr.;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- cognac - 70 ml.;
- salt
- pepper to taste;
- parsley to taste;
- olive oil;
- tomatoes (chopped) - 0.6 kg.
Instructions
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the squid carcasses on both sides with running water. Peel off the thin skin from them.
Step 2
Prepare the minced meat by chopping and stirring all the ingredients.
Step 3
Stuff the squid carcasses with cooked minced meat and carefully sew up the hole.
Step 4
Take a saucepan and, after greasing with oil, fry the squids in it on both sides
Step 5
Add cognac, minced garlic and tomatoes to the saucepan. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
Step 6
Cut the cooked squid carcasses into pieces, sprinkle with herbs, salt, pepper and serve.
