It is necessary

    • 400 g pork liver;
    • 3-4 potatoes per pot;
    • 1-2 carrots;
    • 2 onions;
    • 100 g flour;
    • 3-4 tablespoons tomato paste or ketchup;
    • vegetable oil;
    • salt
    • spices to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash and peel vegetables. Cut the potatoes, carrots and onions into small cubes. Heat a skillet with a little vegetable oil. Place the chopped potatoes and carrots on top of it and sauté over medium heat.

Step 2

After a while, add chopped onions to the pan with potatoes and carrots. Fry vegetables until half cooked, and then salt, stir and turn off the heat.

Step 3

Prepare the liver while the vegetables are roasting. Wash it thoroughly, dry it on paper towels or napkins, remove the film and bile ducts.

Step 4

Cut the liver into small pieces, season with salt and pepper. Pour flour into a bowl. Preheat the second skillet, pour vegetable oil into it.

Step 5

Dip the liver pieces in flour and sauté them in hot vegetable oil on both sides over medium heat.

Step 6

Prepare with carrots and onions. Top with one bay leaf in each pot and black peppercorns.

Step 7

Put the liver on the vegetables, add tomato paste (or ketchup). Fill the potatoes and liver with water so that it is about one-third the volume of the pot.

Step 8

Place the pots in the oven and bake for forty minutes at 180-200 ° C. Then take them out and let stand for five to ten minutes.

Step 9

Serve hot potatoes and liver from this recipe, or place them on a plate. Sprinkle with chopped herbs before serving.
