Everyone knows that sea water has a number of properties beneficial to the human body, since it contains large quantities of useful trace elements, minerals and ions, which are responsible for stimulating many vital processes. Since seawater is a complex complex of microelements, salts and ions, which was formed in exactly this ratio during evolution, it may seem that it is impossible to recreate this miraculous combination at home. However, it is not. Artificial seawater is not a miracle, but a reality.

Instructions

Step 1

The production of such seawater, although not laborious, is a long process. It will take about three days for the water to be completely ready. There are various options for preparing seawater. Those who decide to seriously engage in its manufacture should remember that any such artificial composition must contain a number of salts. Namely: sodium chloride (NaCI) - the weight content of this element in grams per kilogram - no more than 26, 6 (this element, by its specific gravity, is the main one in the composition of artificial seawater); magnesium sulfate (MgS04) - 3.3 g / kg; magnesium chloride (MgClj) - 2.3 g / kg; and calcium chloride (CaCl2) - 1, 2 g / kg. Other salts can be added to the finished solution - mainly sodium bicarbonate (NaHC03) and sodium bromide (NaBr).

Step 2

So, we take a glass container, add all the indicated salts to it in turn, except for calcium chloride. At the same time, we do not start adding the next salt until the previous one is completely dissolved. Dissolve boric acid in a separate bowl, and then add it to the general solution.

Step 3

Let the solution stand for a day. The next day we add calcium chloride to it. The weight of the resulting solution should be approximately 35 grams. After preparing the saline solution, add so much fresh water to it so that the volume of the liquid increases to a liter.

Step 4

Before adding fresh water, it must first be purified using a distiller or ordinary activated carbon. After two to three days, the artificial seawater is ready.

Step 5

The artificial sea water obtained in this way, of course, is inferior in its properties to natural. After all, its composition remains unchanged, since it is not subject to the influence of living organisms that inhabit sea water. But in the absence of "living" sea water, this water is a great alternative.
