It is necessary

  • - 1 3/4 cups mint leaves
  • - 600 g minced lamb
  • - 2 minced garlic cloves
  • - 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • - filo dough
  • - 100 g melted butter
  • - 2 tablespoons of almond flakes
  • - 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • - 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • - 2 cucumbers
  • - 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and a few slices of lemon for garnish

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200C. Chop 3/4 cup mint coarsely, then combine with minced meat, garlic and cumin. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Brush each filo dough sheet with lightly melted butter. Place the minced meat on the long side of the dough, 1 cm wide. Roll into a roll, and then shape it into a spiral. Brush with butter on top. Repeat this with the rest of the minced meat and dough sheets. Sprinkle the spirals with almond flakes and sesame seeds and bake for 30 minutes until crisp.

Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves and the cucumbers thinly diagonally, toss in the remaining mint leaves. Add olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm spirals with salad garnished with lemon wedges.
