This appetizer is very simple to prepare, but at the same time it turns out to be surprisingly tasty and quite beautiful. The pesto and Feta appetizer will be an excellent decoration on the festive table.
Ingredients:
- Hard cheese - 30 g;
- Ready-made puff pastry - 200 g;
- Pine nuts - 40 g;
- Feta cheese - 100 g;
- Basil - 1 bunch;
- Garlic - 1 wedge;
- Cherry tomatoes - 6 pcs;
- Flour for rolling out dough;
- Olive oil;
- Vegetable oil;
- You need hard cheese for decoration.
Preparation:
- First you need to process hard cheese on the smallest grater, parmesan is best. This cheese will need to be sprinkled on the dough.
- Sprinkle a spoonful of flour on the work surface and roll out the non-yeast puff pastry sprinkled with cheese on it into a very thin layer. Using a small glass from a thin layer of puff pastry, cut 12 circles (according to the number of servings).
- Take a baking sheet, grease it a little with sunflower oil, cover it on top with parchment paper for baking. Put dough circles on the paper. And put them in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- At this time, the pesto is being prepared. Wash and dry the basil and chop it coarsely or tear it with your hands. Peel a clove of garlic. Grind the nuts and garlic with the basil in a blender. Continuing to beat the listed ingredients in a blender, add feta and pour in olive oil. Transfer the resulting mixture to a plate.
- Now make punctures in the circles with a fork. Put a baking sheet with circles in an oven preheated to an approximate temperature of 180 degrees. The approximate baking time is 15 minutes. Remove the mugs from the oven and allow to cool completely.
- Then you need to put all the snack together. To do this, rinse the cherry tomatoes and cut them into halves. Grease the puff rounds, which are the basis of the snack, with the resulting paste. Put half a tomato on the pasta and garnish with a thin slice of cheese.
