Ingredients:

  • 200 g crab sticks;
  • 120 g of hard cheese;
  • 1 medium onion;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • 2 chicken eggs;
  • 2 garlic cloves;
  • favorite spices and salt.

Preparation:

  1. First of all, you need to make minced meat for future cutlets. To do this, you must defrost the crab sticks in advance (at room temperature). You can also use crab meat, the taste of the cutlets will be almost the same.
  2. Then remove the wrapping from the crab sticks and, using a knife, cut them into very small pieces. You can also use a coarse grater for this, but it is not recommended to pass through a meat grinder.
  3. The onion must be peeled, washed thoroughly and cut into small cubes.
  4. The cheese is crushed with a grater. By the way, if you don't have hard cheese at hand, then you can easily replace it with processed cheese.
  5. The peel is also removed from the garlic cloves and they are crushed using a garlic press, or cut into tiny pieces with a knife.
  6. One chicken egg must be boiled hard (should cook for about 10 minutes). Then it is cooled in cold water, the shell is removed from it and crushed using a grater.
  7. All prepared ingredients must be combined in a deep cup, and the remaining egg must also be broken there. Salt the minced meat to taste and add the necessary spices. Mix everything well.
  8. Pour the breadcrumbs into a flat plate to help roll the cutlets into them.
  9. Then you can start forming cutlets and frying them. Cutlets should be medium in size. Then they should be rolled in breadcrumbs on all sides. And then the resulting cutlets are sent to a hot frying pan, into which you first need to pour a little vegetable oil.
  10. Fry over medium heat on all sides for about a third of an hour until a golden, crispy crust forms.
  11. These cutlets can be served with a variety of side dishes, and you can also make delicious sandwiches with them. Diversify this dish by adding red fish meat, vegetables or any other minced meat to the minced meat.
