- a couple of bundles of any greenery;

- 7 large spoons of sunflower oil;

- about 3 liters of water.

Cooking tomatoes in slices for the winter:

1. First you need to prepare jars, into which you will then need to roll tomato slices. Wash 7 liter jars well with soda or dishwashing detergent, sterilize.

2. In each jar on the bottom put dill, a clove of garlic cut in half, a little chopped greens.

you can add a variety of seasonings to each jar if desired. For example, cloves, allspice or mustard seeds.

3. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into neat medium-sized slices. Cut the peeled onions into thin half rings.

4. Put a layer of tomato slices in jars, and then a thin layer of onions. Alternate layers until the jars are full. The layers need to be lightly tamped.

5. Then pour a large spoonful of oil into the jars.

6. For preparation, you need to prepare the marinade: pour sugar and salt into boiling water, dissolve them, stirring. Pour the tomatoes in jars with hot marinade.

7. Cover the jars with iron lids and put in a pot of water, sterilize for about 16-18 minutes in boiling water.

8. After that, the cans of tomatoes must be rolled up and, turning upside down, wrapped.
