1 kg of cucumbers, 1 liter of water, 15 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar, 3 tbsp. tablespoons of salt, 2 cloves of garlic, dill, allspice peas, 200 ml of vinegar, liter jars, metal lids, a seamer, a saucepan

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the cucumbers and cut off the ponytails. Cut lengthwise into 4 pieces. Rinse the jars thoroughly and check for chips and cracks. Place dry jars in a cold oven on a wire rack with the neck down. Preheat the oven to 120 degrees and sterilize the jars for 15-20 minutes. Put the lids in a saucepan, cover with water and boil for 5-10 minutes.

Step 2

Take a pot of cold water and dissolve the salt in it. Put on fire and add sugar. While stirring, bring to a boil. Add vinegar. Turn off the heat and let the brine cool slightly for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3

Place peeled cloves of garlic, dill and allspice at the bottom of the jar. Start placing cucumbers in jars and pouring brine over them. Cover the jars with lids and place them in boiling water. Boil for about 10 minutes over low heat.

Step 4

Roll up the cans with lids using a seaming machine. Check for leaks. Turn the jars upside down and cover with a towel or blanket. Place in a cool dark place every other day for further storage (basement, closet, garage, cellar). In winter, delicious crispy pickles await you.
