Flaxseed porridge recipes

Flaxseed flour can be used to make healthy cereals that help remove harmful cholesterol and toxins from the body and reduce weight.

To prepare "live" porridge that does not require cooking, you will need the following products:

- 2 tbsp. l. buckwheat;

- 1 tbsp. l. Flaxseed;

- 1 small onion head;

- linseed oil.

First of all, sort out the buckwheat and dry it. grind the buckwheat and flaxseed separately in a coffee grinder. Then mix them in a ceramic bowl or glass in a 2: 1 ratio and pour boiling water over them (the thickness of the porridge will depend on the amount of water). Stir well and wrap the dishes with a thick towel. Let the porridge brew for 10-15 minutes. During this time, peel the onion, chop finely and fry in vegetable oil. Season cooked flaxseed porridge with sauteed onions or flaxseed oil before serving, which will make the dish even healthier. Indeed, linseed oil contains polyunsaturated acids Omega-3 and Omega-6. Instead of onions, you can add raisins to the porridge. It must first be soaked in warm water for 20 minutes. When the raisins swell, put it in a mixture of buckwheat and flaxseed flour, stir and pour boiling water.

To cook porridge from flaxseed flour in milk, you will need:

- 500 ml of milk;

- ½ glass of flaxseed flour;

- sugar;

- salt.

Pour milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Then gradually add flaxseed flour and, stirring continuously, cook the porridge for 4-5 minutes. After that, remove the pan from the heat and, wrapped in a towel, set it to infuse for about a quarter of an hour. Then add salt, granulated sugar and mix well. If desired, sugar can be replaced with any jam, syrup or honey.

Homemade Flaxseed Bread Recipe

To bake "healthy" bread from flaxseed flour, which will not add kilograms at all and will help maintain slimness, you will need:

- 50 g of flaxseed flour;

- 150 g wheat flour;

- 50 g of bran;

- 150 ml of kefir or whey;

- 1/3 tsp soda slaked in vinegar;

- 1 tsp granulated sugar;

- 1 tbsp. l. sesame;

- salt.

First, sift the wheat flour and add the bran and flaxseed flour to it. Baking powder can also be added if desired. Warm the whey or kefir slightly until warm. Then add granulated sugar, salt and soda, slaked with vinegar to the fermented milk product. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and start kneading the dough. To do this, gradually pour the liquid into the flour mixture and mix everything well with a knife, making chopping movements. Add some pre-roasted sesame seeds.

When possible, knead the dough with your hands. Make sure it doesn't get too steep or too soft. After kneading, cover the dough with a napkin and let it brew for 30-40 minutes. Then form small loaves, sprinkle them with sesame seeds on top, transfer to a greased baking sheet and put in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for half an hour until tender.
