The berry season begins in summer. We collect them and eat them raw, make jam from them, make compote, fruit drink, jam, and also freeze them. Often everyone is faced with such a problem as a lack of space in the freezer. Therefore, I recommend everyone to use one proven method of storing berries.
Instructions
Step 1
After washing, drying and removing the seeds, the berries are minced. You can add a few tablespoons of sugar, but you can do this after defrosting.
Step 2
Fill a plastic bottle with fresh berries, screw the lid back on and place in the refrigerator.
Step 3
When you need a berry for tea, jelly or compote, take out the bottle, cut off a part of it (as much as you need for a single use), put the contents. Place the rest back in the freezer, covering the incision with cling film.
Step 4
For packaging, you can use rectangular plastic bottles. They fit into the freezer more conveniently and more compactly. You can simply fill the berries with sugar, leave until they give juice, and then put them in bottles with the syrup and send them to the freezer. Use this simple and original storage method and eat fresh and healthy berries throughout the winter.
