Pour boiling water over the berries and cook over low heat for ten to fifteen minutes. Cool the broth. Take one tablespoon of the broth mixed with one tablespoon of honey three times a day. The drug should be taken half an hour after eating.

Viburnum berries mixed with honey, onions, lemon and aloe juice are used to treat bronchitis. To prepare the mixture, put a pound of viburnum berries, a pound of honey and the same amount of finely chopped onions in an enamel pan. Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer for four hours in a water bath. Strain the composition, add the juice of one lemon and half a glass of aloe juice to it. Take one tablespoon of the mixture three times daily after meals. Store the mixture in the refrigerator.

A decoction of young shoots of viburnum is used to treat diathesis. To prepare the broth, fill three quarters of the pan with viburnum shoots and fill them with water. Keep the pot in the oven over low heat for three to four hours. Strain the broth, pour it into dark bottles and place in a cool place. The broth should be used three times a day, a teaspoon: two hours before breakfast, two hours after lunch and one and a half hours after dinner. The broth can be sweetened before use. During treatment, you should avoid eating acidic and salty foods.

With increased sweating, a decoction of viburnum bark is used. In order to prepare the broth, pour a tablespoon of the bark with a glass of cold water. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer over low heat for ten minutes. Cool the broth. Wipe your feet and palms with the decoction several times a day.

Jelly can be made from viburnum berries. To do this, you need a kilogram of viburnum and a kilogram of sugar. Dip the washed berries in boiling water for five minutes to remove the bitterness. Remove the viburnum from the boiling water, pour two glasses of warm water over the berries and cook until the berries are soft. Rub the viburnum through a sieve, mix with sugar and cook for fifty minutes. Spread the jelly over hot jars, cool. Store the viburnum jelly in the refrigerator.

Viburnum can be used to make a spicy hot sauce. In order to cook it, pour boiling water over the viburnum berries and rub them through a sieve. Add sugar to the grated berries at the rate of a pound of sugar per pound of viburnum, half a teaspoon of citric acid and finely chopped hot pepper. Wait for the sugar to dissolve.

Step 7

Divide the seasoning into small glass jars. Leave them uncovered at room temperature for two to three days. When a crust forms on the surface of the seasoning, close the jars with the lids. Store the seasoning in a cool place.
