Marinated and baked chicken with potatoes, spices and onions is a delicious dish that is also easy to prepare. It is perfect for a festive feast. You can use new potatoes, any onion, teriyaki sauce, and vegetables as desired.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of chicken drumsticks and wings;
  • 7 pcs. shallots;
  • 0.5 kg potatoes (small size);
  • 2 tbsp. l. teriyaki marinade sauce;
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika;
  • 2 tbsp. l. mustard;
  • sunflower oil;
  • 1 pinch of black pepper;
  • 1 pinch of salt.

Preparation:

  1. Wash the chicken meat, dry a little with paper towels and put in a bowl.
  2. In a bowl, combine the teriyaki marinade sauce, mustard, sunflower oil, paprika, salt and black pepper. Mix everything and pour into a bowl of meat. Stir the meat with your hands so that the sauce hits all the pieces, and leave to marinate for about 60 minutes.
  3. Wash and peel the potatoes with onions. Cut the onion into rings and leave the potatoes whole.
  4. Take a round baking dish, grease it with oil. Place the onion rings in an even layer on the bottom of the mold.
  5. Put the pickled chicken on top of the onion in the middle of the mold.
  6. Put the potatoes in a bowl with the remaining marinade and mix.
  7. Fill the empty space in the form with greased potatoes.
  8. Place the form for 90 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. During baking, the potatoes can be turned over a couple of times and sprinkled with the juice released from the meat.
  9. Note that the baking times are approximate, as each oven has its own characteristics. After 70-80 minutes, you can try the potatoes with a knife for readiness, perhaps your oven will cope with the preparation of the dish much faster.
  10. Remove the cooked chicken with teriyaki and potatoes from the oven, sprinkle with herbs and serve directly in the dish. It is recommended to serve fresh vegetables or a juicy vegetable salad with this dish.
