Marinated and baked chicken with potatoes, spices and onions is a delicious dish that is also easy to prepare. It is perfect for a festive feast. You can use new potatoes, any onion, teriyaki sauce, and vegetables as desired.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of chicken drumsticks and wings;
- 7 pcs. shallots;
- 0.5 kg potatoes (small size);
- 2 tbsp. l. teriyaki marinade sauce;
- 1 tsp sweet paprika;
- 2 tbsp. l. mustard;
- sunflower oil;
- 1 pinch of black pepper;
- 1 pinch of salt.
Preparation:
- Wash the chicken meat, dry a little with paper towels and put in a bowl.
- In a bowl, combine the teriyaki marinade sauce, mustard, sunflower oil, paprika, salt and black pepper. Mix everything and pour into a bowl of meat. Stir the meat with your hands so that the sauce hits all the pieces, and leave to marinate for about 60 minutes.
- Wash and peel the potatoes with onions. Cut the onion into rings and leave the potatoes whole.
- Take a round baking dish, grease it with oil. Place the onion rings in an even layer on the bottom of the mold.
- Put the pickled chicken on top of the onion in the middle of the mold.
- Put the potatoes in a bowl with the remaining marinade and mix.
- Fill the empty space in the form with greased potatoes.
- Place the form for 90 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. During baking, the potatoes can be turned over a couple of times and sprinkled with the juice released from the meat.
- Note that the baking times are approximate, as each oven has its own characteristics. After 70-80 minutes, you can try the potatoes with a knife for readiness, perhaps your oven will cope with the preparation of the dish much faster.
- Remove the cooked chicken with teriyaki and potatoes from the oven, sprinkle with herbs and serve directly in the dish. It is recommended to serve fresh vegetables or a juicy vegetable salad with this dish.
