To prepare a delicious dish from chicken offal, you can use not only hearts, but also stomachs, while the stewing time should be increased.

The products you will need are: a package of chicken hearts - 500-600 grams, a couple of onions, 150 grams of sour cream, vegetable or butter oil, which will need to be used for stewing or frying. A tablespoon topped with flour to thicken the sauce, salt and ground black pepper to taste.

Hearts should be washed, blood vessels and fat should be cut off. You can cut them into several parts - as you like. Cut the onion into smaller pieces. Place a deep saucepan or cast iron skillet over the fire and pour the oil into it. Fry the onion in it until golden brown.

Put chicken hearts in fried onions. Liquid will be released - it must be evaporated over high heat. Cut the second onion into pieces larger than the first. Put the onion in a saucepan and mix everything. The first onion completely dissolves during the cooking process and gives the smell of onions, the second is added for juice and texture.

Add boiling water - it should cover the contents of the stewpan by about a centimeter. Put out everything on low heat for an hour, after that you need to salt and pepper the contents. Add flour and stir so that no lumps form. Add sour cream. Mix everything again and cover.

The brew should boil. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes and turn it off. Let it stand for a while. Serve with a side dish.
