Chicken hearts make a very satisfying homemade dish. Vegetables with sour cream are used in its preparation, which make the dish appetizing and aromatic. Any side dish is suitable for chicken hearts: mashed potatoes, buckwheat, and pasta.
It is necessary
- - 500 grams of chicken hearts;
- - 100 grams of sour cream;
- - 100 grams of onions;
- - 100 grams of carrots;
- - 1 tbsp. tomato paste;
- - vegetable oil;
- - pepper and salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Take chicken hearts, peel off the vessels and fat from them with a knife. Despite the fact that this is a rather long and painstaking work, it is desirable to complete it. Then the dish will acquire a completely different, more delicate taste. But if there is absolutely no patience and time, then you can leave the hearts as they are.
Step 2
Rinse the peeled chicken hearts thoroughly under running water, take the onion, peel, wash and chop very finely.
Step 3
Take the carrots, peel, wash and grate them on a fine grater.
Step 4
Heat a frying pan over a fire, pour vegetable oil into it, wait until it boils. Place the prepared hearts in the pan. Fry them over medium heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Add chopped onions and grated carrots to the pan and mix well.
Step 5
Fry the chicken hearts with vegetables for about 20 minutes, until very soft, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Add sour cream and tomato paste diluted with a few tablespoons of drinking water, mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
