Beautifully decorated champagne will harmonize well with the overall New Year's decor of the room. In addition, a bottle decorated with your own hands can be a worthy gift.
Instructions
Step 1
Tear off the label with the name of the champagne and clean the bottle of glue residues with a cotton swab soaked in a few drops of vegetable oil. Then, dissolve a small amount of dish soap in water and soak a cloth in it. Remove oil from the surface of the bottle and wipe dry.
Step 2
Break enough pine or spruce needles for decoration. It is not worth breaking very finely, and a few needles can generally be left intact. Lubricate one side of the bottle with a thin layer of PVA glue, sprinkle with prepared needles and press them against the glass with your hands. Leave it on for 2 hours.
Step 3
Coat the needles with a thick layer of PVA glue and leave for a couple of hours. Decorate the second part of the bottle in the same way. Once you are sure that the needles have adhered well, cover them with white car paint. Spray it according to the instructions on the can, using gloves and a respirator.
Step 4
Dip a small piece of sponge in gold acrylic paint and paint all the white needles. While the paint is drying, prepare the buds. To do this, carefully saw off one third from each of them using a vice and a hacksaw. The resulting flat surface will make it possible to glue the cone well to the bottle.
Step 5
Paint the finished cones with gold acrylic paint with a thin brush and lay to dry. Wrap the neck of the bottle with tape or a narrow ribbon of the same color. Tie a neat little bow at the very bottom of the neck.
Step 6
Make as many bows from the braid as there are prepared cones. Glue a bow to the base of each of them using Moment seconds glue. Decorate the bottle with cones on all sides, gluing them in a chaotic manner. If you see fit, glue on some more gold beads or decorative glitter stars.
