Kurd is a light cream made from egg yolks, butter and sugar. Most often you can find lemon Kurd, but you can diversify it a little by making a passion fruit delicacy. Kurd can be stored for a long time if you sterilize storage jars under hot steam. You can spread it on bread, make pies with it, and much more.

It is necessary

  • Per serving:
  • - 8 pcs. passion fruit;
  • - 5 egg yolks;
  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the passionfruit, cut each fruit in half, remove the contents with a spoon, rub through a sieve. Add a third of the remaining seeds from the pulp in mashed potatoes - they will crunch very pleasantly, but it is not recommended to put a lot of them.

Step 2

Take large chicken eggs at room temperature, separate the yolks from the whites. Proteins are not required here, you can use them when preparing some kind of dessert.

Step 3

Combine the yolks with the sugar and fruit puree. Heat the mixture over medium heat. The yolks should begin to lighten and thicken. Stir the mixture with a whisk and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the cream from the stove, add butter to it, whisk. Place the cooked passionfruit Kurd in the refrigerator to set the cream well. From the specified number of ingredients, one glass of the finished product is obtained.
