Pork steak baked in orange and garlic sauce will be an excellent option for a festive table. Lovers of Asian cuisine will appreciate the rich taste of meat, seasoned with a spicy sauce.
To prepare the dish you will need:
- pork (chop, loin or other tenderloin)
- garlic
- orange
- cilantro
- olive oil
- mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- wine vinegar
- a mixture of peppers
- salt
Cut the pork into steaks 1-1.5 cm thick, rub with salt, a mixture of peppers, and set aside for 15 minutes. Squeeze the juice out of the orange, add one tablespoon of wine vinegar, mustard, honey, and mix everything well. Put finely chopped cilantro, pork steaks, garlic on the bottom of a deep bowl, pour over everything with cooked marinade.
Cover the bowl with cling film and leave the meat in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours. During this time, the pork will have time to soak in the marinade, become juicy and soft.
Then fry the steaks in olive oil on each side for five minutes. Use a grill pan or wok for frying steaks. Cover the cooked meat tightly with foil and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Serve the dish best with vegetables or light salads; you can use red semi-dry wine as an aperitif.
