A distinctive feature of this dish is the unique combination of sage and orange aromas. Medallions look very original, and their preparation requires a minimum amount of effort and time.
It is necessary
- - 1 kg of pork
- - 15 thin slices of bacon
- - 2 small oranges
- - 150 g sour cream
- - vegetable oil
- - 150 g of meat broth
- - 2 small onions
- - ground black pepper
- - 15 sage leaves
- - salt
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the meat into 7-8 pieces and beat well with a hammer. Pepper and salt the pork as you like. Wrap each piece of meat in a plate of bacon, having previously connected with several leaves of sage.
Step 2
Chop a few small pieces of pork with a knife. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 3
Add meat broth, chopped pork pieces, sour cream and sliced oranges to the fried onions. Season the mixture with pepper and salt, if desired. As soon as the mass reaches a thick consistency, remove the oranges and mix the remaining ingredients thoroughly.
Step 4
Place the meat pieces in a baking dish and place in the oven for 30 minutes. As soon as the pork is cooked, remove the mold from the oven and cut the rolls into several pieces to make medallions. Such a dish can be served on the table with any side dish. Be sure to season it with hot orange sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
