To make spicy shrimp, you need to choose the right spices to go with the seafood. Shrimps go well with thyme, oregano, cumin, paprika. And if you serve shrimps with fragrant orange salsa, you will get an original spicy appetizer.

- For twelve servings:
- - 36 large peeled shrimps;
- - 5 teaspoons of olive oil;
- - 2 teaspoons of ground cumin;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of paprika;
- - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, dried oregano;
- - dried thyme, red pepper, salt, allspice - to taste.
- For orange salsa:
- - 2 cups of pomegranate seeds;
- - 1 cup peeled orange slices;
- - 1/3 cup chopped green onions;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of cilantro, jalapeno pepper;
- - salt.

Step 1
Prepare the salsa first, as it needs time to brew. Combine orange slices with pomegranate seeds, cilantro, and onions. Chop the jalapeno pepper, add to this mass, salt to taste.
Step 2
Combine cumin, paprika, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, black and red pepper in a large plastic bag. Put peeled shrimps there, close the bag, mix. Remove the shrimp from the bag immediately.
Step 3
Heat a few tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet. Put half of the shrimp in it, fry on both sides (4 minutes is enough, you cannot fry the shrimp for a long time).
Step 4
Transfer the shrimp to a plate and fry the remaining half of the shrimp in the remaining oil.
Step 5
Do not wait for the shrimp to cool, place them in plated bowls, serve with the orange pomegranate salsa.
