Zucotto is an Italian dish. This is the name of the domed cake. Soaked in Italian meringue inside and out, as well as custard, soak and whipped cream. It tastes like ice cream.

- - 1 tbsp. cognac
Instructions
Step 1
Bake a biscuit. Beat with a mixer 100 g granulated sugar and 3 eggs. Add salt, flour and vanillin. Place the dough in a baking paper lined dish. In an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake the biscuit for about 25-30 minutes. Check the readiness of the biscuit with a match, if it is dry, then you can pull it out.
Step 2
Make a custard. Beat with a mixer 40 g granulated sugar, 25 g flour and two yolks, beat well until smooth. Heat the milk in a saucepan and pour into the yolk mixture. Stir and put on fire, cook until boiling. Remove from heat and leave to cool for 10-20 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the meringue. Whisk granulated sugar, 6 egg whites and water until stable peaks. Mix 125 g of granulated sugar and 50 ml of water, put on fire and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and beat with a mixer for about 20-25 minutes.
Step 4
Cover the form with foil. Cut the biscuit into strips, divide them into 3 pieces, and place the first piece in the mold. Chop 50 g of dark chocolate and sprinkle over a sponge cake.
Step 5
Make an impregnation. Dissolve 50 g of granulated sugar in 50 ml of water. Cool the mixture and add cognac. Prepare the whipped cream. Whisk the cream and icing sugar in a mixer.
Step 6
Mix 1/2 meringue with custard, stir and add 1/2 whipped cream. Lubricate the resulting mass of biscuit. Then cover with a second piece of biscuit and soak. Cover with the last slice of biscuit. Mix meringue with chocolate chips and whipped cream, brush over a sponge cake. Store in a cool place for 4-6 hours. Remove the cake and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
