The loud name "Caesar" unites many salads. Such a dish attracts gourmets with its amazing taste, perfectly balanced texture and, of course, satiety. Choose your delicious appetizer recipe and make Caesar with smoked breast, shrimp or bacon.
Caesar salad with smoked breast
Ingredients:
- 400 g smoked chicken breast;
- 400 g of Chinese cabbage;
- 150 g cherry tomatoes;
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- 1/2 cut white loaf;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 50 g of dill;
- 100 g of mayonnaise;
- olive oil.
Cut the crusts off the loaf slices, cut the centers into even cubes and mix with the finely chopped dill. Peel the garlic cloves and press down lightly with a knife. Heat the olive oil, fry the garlic well in it, remove and discard. Toast the bread until golden brown and crisp with constant stirring and place in a bowl.
Separate white meat from bones, cartilage and skin and chop randomly. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Chop the Chinese cabbage thinly and cut the cherry in half. Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and serve. Place a gravy boat with mayonnaise next to it. Season the salad before you eat to prevent the croutons from getting wet.
Caesar salad with shrimps
Ingredients:
- 400 g of boiled-frozen king prawns;
- 200 g romano salad;
- 150 g cherry tomatoes;
- 40 g of parmesan;
- 1 bag of wheat crackers with salmon or cheese flavor (50 g);
- 80 g of light mayonnaise;
- olive or vegetable oil.
Thaw the shrimp at room temperature. Peel them off and remove the heads. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the seafood for 2-3 minutes. Tear the salad leaves with your hands, cover them with mayonnaise and mix gently with your hands to distribute the sauce evenly. Leave the romano to marinate for 5 minutes, then place the tomato halves or quarters, the parmesan sliced into strips, then the shrimp and croutons.
Caesar salad with bacon
Ingredients:
- 6 strips of bacon;
- 300 g lettuce;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 3 slices of white bread;
- 50 g of hard cheese;
- 50 g of natural yogurt;
- 70 ml of olive oil;
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
- a pinch of ground black pepper;
- salt.
Dry white bread cubes or wedges in the oven at 180oC. Whisk together yogurt with olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper and 1/3 teaspoon in a small bowl. salt. Fry the bacon in a dry skillet. Hard-boil the eggs, peel them off and cut each in four pieces. Grate the cheese finely. Line a salad bowl with torn lettuce leaves, put all the other Caesar ingredients on top, ending with croutons, and pour over with yogurt sauce.
