Caesar salad has a very rich history and is the basis for the preparation of other varieties of this dish. There are many variations of this salad. Some people add chicken, tomatoes, ham, seafood, etc. to the classic salad, but, nevertheless, the main ingredients remain unchanged.

- Romano lettuce leaves - 250 g;
- parmenzan cheese - 60 g;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- To make croutons:
- baguette or white bread (preferably dried out) - 150 g;
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons l.;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- salt.
- To make the sauce:
- lemon - ½ pc.
- Worcester sauce - 1 tsp;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- olive oil - 2 tablespoons l.;
- black pepper (ground).
Instructions
Step 1
Immerse fresh eggs at room temperature in cool salted boiling water for about 1 minute, then let cool by pouring cold water over them. If you stored eggs in the refrigerator, then carefully pierce them from the blunt end before cooking.
Step 2
Rinse the Romano salad thoroughly, pat dry with a paper towel and refrigerate.
Step 3
Make croutons. Turn on the oven in advance. This is necessary so that it has time to warm up to 180-200 degrees. In the meantime, she's coming, get busy with bread. Peel off the crust and cut into small cubes about 1 x 1 centimeter in size. Place on a baking sheet and dry in a preheated oven until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Next, crush the garlic, grind it with salt, mix with olive oil and heat in a pan over low heat. After that, pour the croutons into a preheated pan, stir and keep on fire for about 2 minutes.
Step 4
While the croutons are cooking, finely grate the Parmesan cheese.

Rub a salad bowl with a clove of garlic. Tear the chilled lettuce leaves into small pieces with your hands and place in a cup. After that, sprinkle them with cold olive oil and actively, but at the same time, gently move them so that the salad is airy.

Season with salt and pepper, add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and stir.

Next, add eggs to the salad and mix so that they cover all the salad leaves.

Finish with grated Parmesan cheese and croutons.
