The classic Italian summer salad is one of the oldest national dishes that Italians prefer to eat in hot weather. As a rule, it is prepared from various ingredients, limited only by the imagination of the chef. But the main ones are, of course, pasta, vegetables, olive oil and herbs.
It is necessary
- - pasta - 250 g;
- - green bell pepper - 1/2 cup;
- - red bell pepper - 1/2 cup;
- - canned beans - 500 g;
- - purple onions - 100 g;
- - olive oil - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - lemon juice - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - oregano - 1, 5 tsp;
- - salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil the pasta in the form of short tubes, created exclusively from durum wheat, in salted water. In no case should it be overcooked. Then discard the pasta in a colander, dry and cool.
Step 2
Place the pasta in a large bowl. Add canned beans, diced onions, and red and green bell peppers, chopped into small strips.
Step 3
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, pepper and salt in a bottle. Screw the cap back onto the bottle and shake it well.
Step 4
Pour the dressing over the salad and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Ideally, the classic Italian salad is chilled for 4-5 hours. Then mix again and serve.
