Aniseed biscuits are delicious, flavorful and easy to prepare with basic ingredients. It turns out to be crumbly with an amazing aroma and will appeal to all lovers of anise.

Step 1
Start with a large bowl and whisk. Whisk the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Then add egg yolks to this mass gradually, stirring constantly.

Then add the anise seeds and mix thoroughly. Now add the heavy cream and at the end add the flour mixed with baking powder. The dough should be firm and smooth.

Now shape the dough into 2 "logs" with a diameter of 4 cm. Wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Meanwhile, prepare a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 180 C.

Then cut the dough into 1 cm thick slices. Dip each slice in granulated sugar and place on a baking sheet.

Aniseed cookies should be baked in the oven for 12-14 minutes. It should remain light. Then let cool at room temperature. Do not rush to remove the finished cookies from the baking sheet, as they should harden after baking.
