In recent years, beer producers have decided to significantly expand their target audience, targeting women. It's not for nothing that beer is considered a non-feminine alcohol, but many companies have launched soft beer drinks on the market.

Cheap beer drinks

It should be noted that the so-called women's beers, or beer drinks are served to consumers in a completely different way from men's. Here, packaging design and the promise not to harm the female body come to the fore. At the same time, many people are very skeptical about such drinks, not without reason considering them an image product that is sold not because of its unique qualities, but thanks to the good work of marketers.

Advertising with sexual overtones, bright "stylish" packaging, design - all this is designed to attract the attention of a female audience, while the taste of such drinks is not very good. Eve and Redd's are one of those drinks.

There is practically nothing left of the taste of beer in them, since berry additives clog it completely. Formally, such drinks can be called beer, since they contain malt, but in fact they are ordinary beer cocktails.

Manufacturers say that such beer cocktails do less harm to the female body than regular beer, although in fact, Eve and Redd's contain chemical additives - flavors that are used instead of natural juices. If you like the taste of such drinks, add your favorite juice (preferably freshly squeezed) to a good, proven and not too strong beer, such a drink will harm your health much less.

Fruit beer from the best breweries

If you want to taste real fruity beer, pay attention to the creations of Belgian and Czech brewers. They make the famous cherry beer, not cheap alcoholic fruit drinks. Of course, it is much more expensive, but its taste cannot be compared with the taste of substitutes.

The strength of cherry lambic is in the range of five to six degrees.

One hundred liters of finished beer accounts for about thirteen kilograms of cherries. It is pitted and macerated in lambic (a type of beer that is characterized by spontaneous fermentation, which is achieved without the addition of special brewer's yeast).

The fruit sugar in the cherries allows the beer to undergo secondary fermentation. As a result, the cherry flavor is fully revealed in the finished drink, but at the same time it does not overwhelm the natural taste of a good beer.

In addition to cherry beer, you can find drinks prepared on the basis of nutmeg or raspberries.

The Belgians believe that Schaerbeek cherries, which are grown in large quantities near Brussels, are best suited for making such a fruity beer, or "shout". Cherries of this variety are notable for their small size, they are usually harvested when the berries begin to overripe, at which time their aroma becomes especially strong.
