Donuts, or otherwise they are also called donates, can not only be fried, but also baked in the oven. When baked, they are very soft, tender and aromatic. I propose to cook them.
It is necessary
- - milk - 1 glass;
- - yeast - 1 tablespoon;
- - butter - 2 tablespoons;
- - sugar - 1, 5 cups;
- - eggs - 2 pcs;
- - flour - 4 glasses;
- - salt - 1 teaspoon;
- - cinnamon - 1 tablespoon;
- - nutmeg - a pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the milk until warm, then mix a third of it with dry yeast. Leaving this mass warm, do not touch it for 5 minutes.
Step 2
After that, add soft butter, half a glass of granulated sugar and the rest of the milk to the yeast mass. Stir well, then add the beaten eggs, a pinch of nutmeg, and salt and flour. Make the mixture smooth. The donut dough is ready.
Step 3
Take a deep-bottomed cup, brush it with sunflower oil and place the dough rolled into a ball there. Heat for about 60 minutes, remembering to cover with a damp towel.
Step 4
Knead the dough that has come up with your hands for a while, then roll it into a layer, the thickness of which is 1 centimeter. Take a glass and cut out circles with it. Then make a small hole in the middle of each shape - you can make a bottle cork. Leave the future donuts in this form for 45 minutes.
Step 5
Send the donuts to bake in the oven at a temperature of 160 degrees for about 10 minutes - they should be golden brown.
Step 6
While the donuts are baking, melt the butter until smooth. Combine granulated sugar with cinnamon.
Step 7
Remove the finished baked goods from the oven, let it cool slightly, then apply melted butter to its surface. Sprinkle with a dry mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon on top. The donuts are ready in the oven!
