Salsa is one of the most popular Mexican vegetable sauces. Its most important ingredient is chili pepper. This sauce can be served with meat, poultry and fish, as well as the popular Nachos corn chips. Let's take a closer look at the peculiarities of its preparation.

- fresh cilantro;
- purple onion - 1 pc;
- olive oil - 30 ml;
- ground black pepper - 3 g;
- hot pepper - 1 pc;
- lemon juice - 100 ml;
- tomatoes - 4 pcs;
- a clove of garlic - 2 pcs;
- salt - 3 g.

Step 1
Wash all vegetables, dry them. Clean hot peppers from partitions and grains using running water. Cut all vegetables into slices and drizzle with olive oil. Preheat oven to 200 oC and place prepared vegetables in it. Bake them for 15 minutes until they are lightly browned.
Step 2
Next, cool the vegetables, remove the peel from the tomatoes. Using a vegetable cutter, chop all the ingredients so that the pieces are felt. Add lemon juice, black pepper, salt and a tablespoon of olive oil to the mixture. Stir everything well.
Step 3
Chop cilantro greens and add to the mix. Place the sauce in the refrigerator for 1 hour. After the allotted time, the sauce can be considered ready.
