Fish balls, or cutlets, are pretty quick and easy to cook. Such a dish turns out to be tender and juicy and will please even children who do not like fish in fried or stewed form.

- For minced fish meatballs with beans:
- can of canned white beans
- 400 g fish fillet
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- salt pepper

Instructions
Step 1
For the steamed meatballs, grind the fish fillets. Add the bread soaked in milk, egg, salt and pepper. Knead the minced meat well and form the meatballs. Place them on the bottom of a saucepan or saucepan, having greased the bottom with vegetable oil. Lay out the meatballs, place the peeled and chopped fresh mushrooms between them. Sprinkle with vegetable oil on top, pour wine and fish broth (or water) into a saucepan. The meatballs should be covered with broth. Place the lid on the pot and cook for 20 minutes. After that, drain the broth into another container and prepare the sauce from it. Mix yogurt with flour, dilute with broth, add tomato paste or grated carrots (to taste), and finely chopped onions. Boil for a few minutes until thickened. For a side dish, boil the green beans, sprinkle them with oil and pour the prepared sauce along with the meatballs.
Step 2
Fish balls can be cooked in the oven. To do this, finely chop the herring fillet, mix with the diced onions, add the egg and bread soaked in milk. Season with salt and pepper and knead the minced meat well. Form the meatballs and roll in the breadcrumbs. Fry a little on both sides and place in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for 10 minutes. If you like fatty sauces, drizzle mayonnaise on the meatballs. Serve boiled red beans with butter and herbs as a side dish.
Step 3
You can prepare minced meat for the meatballs along with the beans. Pass the fish fillet through a meat grinder or blender. Grind canned beans in a blender and mix with minced fish. Chop the onion finely, beat the egg and add to the minced meat. Season it with pepper and salt. After pre-wetting your hands with water, form the meatballs and place in a preheated pan with vegetable oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Turn very carefully so that the patties do not fall apart. Serve them alone or with a vegetable salad.
