If you want to make a delicious meal but you are short on time, try making a ham and cheese salad. You will find the necessary products in any supermarket or even in your own refrigerator. The average cooking time is no more than 15 minutes.
How to make ham and cheese salad
To prepare the salad, you will need fresh produce, namely:
- 300 g ham;
- 2 bell peppers;
- 3 fresh tomatoes;
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- mayonnaise.
Peel the ham, cut into strips and place in a bowl. In the meantime, wash the vegetables thoroughly. Cut the tomatoes into slices and the peppers into cubes or strips. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Lay out all components separately.
Chopped onions can be added to the salad to taste, but this is entirely at your discretion. When all the ingredients are ready, lay them out on a large platter.
Put ham as the first layer, then onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, cheese. Each layer must be soaked in mayonnaise. If you're looking for calories, use white yogurt with a dash of greens and a dash of mustard.
Decorate the top with olives, dill sprigs, parsley. If none of this is present, the taste of the salad will still not be affected. Ideally, the snack should be kept in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, but if you don't have time, serve it to guests right away.
