Many housewives have this hearty salad codenamed "Cheese, Ham, Cucumber", some serve it on the festive table as "Delicate", "Juicy" or "Berlin". Most of the guests simply do not bother with the name, sweeping food from their plates in a matter of seconds and asking for more extras. It's all about the delicate, juicy, fresh taste of the salad, its beautiful appearance and an appetizing ham-cucumber smell. Cooking it is as easy as shelling pears, just 5 minutes for cutting and mixing the products. In fact, this is a simplified version of "Olivier" that saves time and effort for the hostess.
It is necessary
- - 3 boiled eggs;
- - 200 g ham or ham sausage;
- - 1 fresh medium-sized cucumber;
- - 100 g of any kind of hard cheese;
- - 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the ham from the film, cut into thin strips or sticks.
Step 2
Peel the boiled eggs in advance, cut them into small cubes on a cutting board. You can just grate them with a coarse grater, as you like.
Step 3
Wash the fresh cucumber, wipe with a towel, cut into thin strips or pass through a special grater to get the same long cubes.
Step 4
Grate the cheese through a coarse grater.
Step 5
Combine all prepared foods in a beautiful transparent salad bowl, season with mayonnaise. Salt only if necessary, ham and cheese with mayonnaise provide enough salt. If you wish, you can make a mayonnaise-sour cream dressing, replacing part of the mayonnaise with fat sour cream for a more delicate taste.
Step 6
You can serve salad not only in a bright dish, glass salad bowl or on a porcelain flat plate, but also by putting tartlets in bowls. Garnish the top with bell pepper slices, fresh tomato, cucumber circles, pomegranate seeds, or canned corn. Feathers of green onions, sprigs of parsley, dill will help to enhance the appetizing aroma.
