Ingredients for one serving:

  • Chicken egg - 3 pcs;
  • Milk - ½ cup;
  • Butter - 15 g;
  • Hard cheese - 150 g;
  • A bunch of parsley and dill;
  • Half a baguette;
  • Cherry tomatoes - 4 pcs;
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation:

  1. First, beat the eggs very thoroughly in a bowl, adding milk. Make sure the eggs are fresh, this is very important for making an omelet. The better you beat the eggs, the more airy the omelet will be. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. The baguette must be cut into small cubes and fried in a pan in which the butter was preheated. Avoid burning the oil.
  3. Fry the baguette until golden brown, this should be done over very low heat, otherwise there is a risk of burning it. After that, pour the mixture of eggs and milk into the pan.
  4. As soon as the eggs begin to fry and are thick enough but not quite cooked, start wrapping the omelet in a roll. This should be done with a wooden spatula. To do this, first wrap one part of the omelet and then the other. At this point, the eggs will be almost ready, so the next step is to add the grated cheese.
  5. To melt the cheese faster, cover the skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes. It's important to remember that eggs can get a little dry, so try not to overcook them.

The finished omelet is laid out on a plate, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs and garnished with cherry tomatoes, which will add juiciness to this dish. Serve with breakfast or dinner, but only hot.
