Tatale is a sweet-savory banana donut served as a starter or snack, a traditional Ghanaian dish.

It is necessary
- - 500 gr. ripe bananas
- - 200 gr. corn flour
- - 100 gr. wheat flour
- - 1 piece of onion
- - 1 piece of chili green
- - 1 tsp ground ginger
- - 1 chicken egg
- - vegetable oil for frying
- - 1 tsp soda
- - salt to taste
Instructions
Step 1
Peel, wash and finely chop the onion and green chili.
Step 2
Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork or blender.
Step 3
Add onion, chili, ginger, baking soda, egg, corn flour, and wheat flour to the banana puree. Mix thoroughly and salt.
Step 4
Use your hands to shape the dough into apricot-sized donuts.
Step 5
Pour sunflower oil into a saucepan, put on fire, heat.
Step 6
Fry donuts in small batches until golden brown over low heat (5-10 minutes).
Step 7
Remove the donuts from the butter and spread them on absorbent paper to drain off the excess oil.
