Biscuit dough is often used to make a variety of baked goods. Sponge cake made with kefir or other fermented milk products is one of the most inexpensive and quick-cooking products.

It is necessary

  • - 3-4 eggs;
  • - sugar - 0.75 - 1 glass;
  • - flour - 300 g;
  • - kefir - 1 glass;
  • - extinguished soda - 1 tsp;
  • - butter - 80 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Beat the eggs into a deep, clean and dry bowl and beat them with a mixer, adding sugar in small portions. It will take about 7-10 minutes to beat, until a strong, homogeneous foam is obtained from the eggs and sugar. Then we reduce the speed of the mixer to the minimum and, without ceasing to beat, pour the fermented milk drink into the bowl, and also spread the softened butter.

Step 2

When all the ingredients are mixed, pour the sifted flour into the bowl, while the mixer is not turned off. When the flour dissolves, pour a teaspoon of quenched soda into the dough and beat the dough until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained.

Step 3

Cover the bottom of the mold (in this case, it is better to take a detachable one) with parchment paper, and grease the sides with plenty of butter and sprinkle with flour. We spread the dough into a mold, leveling it with a spatula or with wet hands.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees, put a baking sheet with the dough in it and wait for the dough to increase in volume (rise). After that, lower the temperature in the oven to 180 degrees and bake the biscuit for half an hour. Check the readiness of the baking with a sharp knife or toothpick. Take the finished biscuit out of the oven, let it cool slightly and remove it from the mold.
