It's easy enough to make chips at home. And there is no difficulty in this, as it might seem at first.
Required Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes with a total weight of 500 gr.
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vinegar essence
- 2 p. peanut butter
- salt to taste
Before preparing the chips, you need to peel, wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices. It is recommended to keep it in cold water until frying.
- The first stage of cooking is as follows: you need to drain the water in which the potato slices were, mix the vinegar with two liters of water in a large container and bring to a boil over high heat. Add potatoes to this liquid and cook for three minutes, then drain the water from the pan and carefully remove the potato chips on a baking sheet, previously lined with paper towels. Dry the chips for about five minutes, turning occasionally.
- Second step: Pour peanut butter into a large deep frying pan and heat it to 160 degrees Celsius. Add a third of the chopped potatoes to the pan and cook it, stirring continuously with a slotted spoon, thereby getting rid of air bubbles (this will take about five minutes). Place the fried chips from the skillet in a large bowl lined with paper towels and sprinkle with salt. It is advisable to make all the slices of the same size when cutting potatoes so that they have the same cooking time.
- Cooking Step Three: Place all of the cooked and salted chips in a large serving platter, then follow the previous cooking steps with 2/3 of the potato slices remaining.
- Serve ready-made chips right now, or wait until they cool completely and put them in a bag for subsequent serving.
