Chips are a delicacy that both adults and children love. There are many types of chips, such as potato, apple, beetroot, cheese. The latter option is the perfect type of chips, which are great as a side dish with salads and seafood.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of cheese;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of sesame;
- - 50-70 g of pistachios;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
Instructions
Step 1
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater (hard cheese is best for making chips).
Step 2
Chop the garlic, and also chop the nuts as small as possible, then grind them into a gruel in a mortar (in this recipe you can use any nuts, but the most delicious chips are obtained with pistachios and hazelnuts).
Step 3
Put cheese, chopped nuts, sesame seeds and garlic in a deep bowl, mix everything thoroughly.
It is best to use a silicone mold for making cheese chips, but if you don't have one, you can use a regular baking sheet, but in this case, be sure to cover it with oiled parchment. So, using a spoon, put the mixture in the form of cakes on the prepared form. The optimal distance between them is 3-5 cm, the diameter of each "cake" is 8-10 cm.
Step 4
Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 7-10 minutes, then lower the oven temperature to 70 degrees and hold the chips for another 10 minutes.
Step 5
After a while, remove the baking sheet from the oven and, while the chips are hot, use a rolling pin to shape them into a curved shape. Chips can be served either as a side dish or as an independent snack.
