Chocolate mousse is a great addition to your coffee at lunch. The combination of creamy sweetness and light bitterness will perfectly emphasize the rich taste of a coffee drink and will allow you to escape from the daily hustle and bustle.
It is necessary
- - 2 tsp gelatin
- - 100 ml of boiled water
- - 2 tsp cognac
- - 200 g milk chocolate
- - 2 chicken eggs
- - 250 ml 33% cream
- - 50 g peeled pistachios
- - 5 tbsp. l. icing sugar
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to pour gelatin with cold water and for 15-20 minutes and leave to swell.
Step 2
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Step 3
Break the chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a water bath. Gently add cognac and whipped yolks to it, mix thoroughly. Then remove the mass from the water bath.
Step 4
Beat the whites, gradually adding a little powdered sugar (about 2 tablespoons) and combine with the chocolate mass.
Step 5
Heat the swollen gelatin in a water bath until it is completely dissolved. However, you should not boil it, as it loses its properties when boiling.
Step 6
Combine the chocolate mass with the cooled gelatin.
Step 7
Whip the cream with the remaining icing sugar (about 3 tablespoons). Add half to the chocolate mass, and set aside the other for decoration.
Step 8
Arrange the mousse in the bowls and refrigerate until completely cooled.
Step 9
Garnish with mint leaves, whipped cream, or chopped pistachios when serving.
