- - 350 g spaghetti;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 150 g smoked Italian ham;
- - 100 g flour;
- - 2-3 cloves of garlic;

Egg-based carbonara paste
Try a classic Italian dish - spaghetti with egg sauce. Cut the Italian ham into small cubes, peel and chop the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and, stirring occasionally, fry the ham for 3-4 minutes until it is slightly browned. Then add the garlic, salt and pepper and cook the mixture for a couple of minutes.

Crack the eggs by separating the whites from the yolks. Pour the yolks into a deep bowl, add salt and whisk until smooth. Gradually add the sifted wheat flour, stirring constantly to avoid clumping. Pour in the fried ham.

Boil salted water in a saucepan and toss in the spaghetti. Cook for as long as indicated on the packaging of the pasta. To prevent the noodles from sticking, add 1 tablespoon to the water. vegetable oil. Throw the finished spaghetti in a colander, let the water drain. Place the pasta in a bowl of sauce, mix everything thoroughly. Serve spaghetti carbonara, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and garnish with basil leaves.

Chop the lean ham into small pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.
