Pasta "Carbonara" is a popular dish of Italian cuisine, it is a pasta seasoned with cream-based sauce. In addition, bacon, brisket or smoked ham, as well as raw yolk and parmesan cheese, are commonly added to Carbonara. You can prepare a dish both in a frying pan and in a slow cooker.

It is necessary

  • - 300 g dry spaghetti;
  • - 150 g bacon or brisket;
  • - 100 g of hard cheese;
  • - 1 egg yolk;
  • - 200 ml heavy cream (30%);
  • - 40 ml of vegetable oil;
  • - 3 cloves of garlic;
  • - 1 1/2 l of water;
  • - salt, freshly ground black pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the bacon or brisket into thin slices. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Peel the garlic. Pour water into the multicooker container, set the "Pasta" program on the display, the cooking time is 9 minutes.

Step 2

After the beep sounds, open the lid of the appliance and place dry spaghetti in the bowl (you can break them beforehand), stir and salt. After closing the lid, press the Start button on the display and cook the spaghetti until the program ends. Drain the cooking water, discard the pasta in a colander, do not rinse.

Step 3

Add vegetable oil to the multicooker bowl, add whole peeled garlic cloves. Set the "Fry" program for 10 minutes. Fry the garlic in oil, stirring occasionally with a spatula; you do not need to close the lid. The teeth should turn golden. Take them out of the bowl.

Step 4

Place the bacon in the resulting garlic oil and fry a little, pour in the heavy cream, then close the lid and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the yolk and stir immediately.

Step 5

Mix the prepared sauce with boiled spaghetti, put on plates, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese on top and, if desired, chopped fresh herbs.
