This recipe is a great option for those who have not yet fully grasped the art of fluffy biscuit. Simple shortbread sweet dough is a win-win. You can even not roll it out, but knead it with your hands, conveniently placing it in any baking dish.

It is necessary

  • - 1 pack of butter
  • - 2 eggs
  • - 0.5 cups of sugar
  • - 1 pack of baking powder (8 g)
  • - 3 cups flour
  • - 2 packs of cottage cheese
  • - jam, pieces of fruit, raisins or nuts - to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Melt a pack of butter: you can do this in a water bath, in the microwave, or with a saucepan over very low heat. Beat two eggs into the melted butter. Add sugar and stir everything well.

Step 2

Next is the line of flour. Mix a pack of baking powder with one glass of flour and slowly pour the flour into the butter (the best option is to do this with a sieve), stirring the dough constantly.

Step 3

The dough should be firm, “tough”. In order for it not to stick to your hands and to be more obedient, you can put it in the refrigerator. Not for long - at least for the time while you cook the curd mass.

Step 4

Mix two packs of cottage cheese with jam (in my case, this is currant jam). If it's sweet enough, no sugar addition is required. Taste the resulting curd mass and add whatever ingredients you see fit. As always, the filling of the pie depends only on your imagination and your preferences. On top of the curd mass, you can put pineapple rings or peach slices, you can add raisins or nuts to the curd. Or leave everything as it is.

Step 5

Put the chilled dough on a greased baking sheet, distribute the dough evenly on it, not forgetting to make high edges - "sides" (after all, you will get a lot of filling). You can do this with a spoon or even just with your hands.

Step 6

Put the curd filling on top, evenly distributing it over the dough. Place the cake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes. Bake it at 180 degrees for the first 10 minutes, then you can reduce it to 160.

Step 7

The hot pie will be very soft, the filling will even be a little thin. But don't worry: as soon as your baked goods have cooled down, the filling will become denser. The dough will remain crumbly and will not get stale over time.
