Home-made halva is a great dessert for your daily menu. Natural halva can be safely consumed by both children and adults. In this case, the delicacy can be stored for a long time.
It is necessary
- –Heated butter (570 g);
- –Corn or wheat flour (1, 5 kg);
- - granulated sugar (700 g).
Instructions
Step 1
To make homemade halva, prepare a deep frying pan with a thick bottom and all the ingredients in advance. First you need to put the pan on the hotplate and heat it to a moderate temperature. Next, place the butter in the pan and melt.
Step 2
When the butter is completely melted, a foam should form on the surface, which must be periodically removed. Once the froth is gone, pour 2 parts of the oil from the pan, leaving 1 part.
Step 3
Then add the required amount of flour into the oil and, stirring regularly with a wooden spatula, fry over low heat. Cook the flour and butter until the mixture turns golden brown.
Step 4
When the flour and butter are ready, you can add granulated sugar and then thoroughly mix the finished halva base. Leave the mixture to cool and completely dissolve the sugar.
Step 5
Prepare a flat container for halva. Brush with vegetable oil, lay out the mixture and smooth with a wooden spatula so that a layer of equal thickness is obtained. When halva has cooled down to half, then you can cut the delicacy into portioned pieces in any shape.
Step 6
Next, wrap the halva in plastic wrap and put it in a cold place to cool completely. Such halva can be stored for a long time and used as a dessert or served at the festive table.
