Chicken tabaka is a popular and beloved dish that has long won the hearts of true gourmets. The origin of this delicacy is Georgian, and it was originally called "tapaka", thanks to the name of a special frying pan in which the chicken was cooked. It is necessary

  • - 1 kg of chicken;
  • - 3-4 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
  • - 3-4 cloves of garlic;
  • - 50 g of herbs (parsley, dill, cilantro);
  • - salt, pepper - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Slice the chicken along the breast. Wrap it with cling film and beat off on both sides. Rub the beaten chicken thoroughly with spices.

Step 2

Pour 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a skillet and place over medium heat to warm slightly. If desired, vegetable oil can be replaced with butter or olive oil.

Step 3

Place the chicken in a preheated skillet, skin side down. Place a weight on it, such as a pot of water.

Step 4

Fry the chicken on each side for 15 minutes, until golden brown. You need to fry under load. After that, remove the load, pour in a small amount of water and extinguish for 3 minutes.

Step 5

Chop the herbs and garlic and add 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, mix. Place the tobacco chicken on a large plate and top with the garlic sauce.
