Most people nowadays strive to maintain their health with proper nutrition. One of these healthy dietary recommendations is poultry stewed in sour cream. This is a tasty, quite hearty and healthy lunch dish.
Ingredients:
- Boneless fillet of poultry (chicken or turkey) - 850 g;
- Sour cream - 300 g;
- Spices, salt and pepper to taste;
- Cheese (necessarily hard) - 180 g;
- A mixture of chopped greens - 25 g;
- Olive oil - 60 g.
Preparation:
- Wash boneless and skinless poultry fillets and cut into small cubes. Put the prepared poultry in a well-heated frying pan with olive oil poured into it. Fry for 25 minutes over medium heat. Periodically, once every 5 minutes, stirring.
- While poultry fillets are fried, sour cream sauce should be prepared. To do this, combine sour cream, spices, pepper, salt and a mixture of chopped herbs in a bowl for a blender. Beat with a blender. You should get a homogeneous mass of a greenish tint.
- Grate cheese on a coarse grater and add to the cooking sauce. Beat with a blender for 3 minutes. Should get a smooth cream sauce.
- Pour the resulting sour cream sauce over the poultry cooking in a skillet and leave it to simmer over the fire for another 20 minutes.
- You can serve it in the pan where it was cooked, always hot.
Boiled buckwheat or rice should be served as a side dish for this dish. Season the dish, preferably with pickled or salted vegetables. A dish based on the above recipe can also be prepared with lean pork or veal.
If desired, the recipe can be improved by adding vegetables such as carrots, fresh peppers and zucchini to the sour cream sauce. After cleaning, washing and cutting them, combine them with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and beat with a blender.
