Jam, like jam, is prepared by boiling fruits or berries in sugar syrup. But there are differences in these products. In addition to sugar, alcohol and spices can be added to jam during production. Changing the taste of jam due to various additives, it is used not only as a dessert, but also as a sauce for main dishes.
It is necessary
- - ripe tomatoes - 0.7 kg;
- - garlic - 6 cloves;

- - apple cider vinegar - 0.5 cups;

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a piece of clean gauze, fold it in several layers. Collect the spices listed in the recipe, namely peppercorns, garlic, mustard seeds, dry red pepper. Place the spices in the middle of the gauze blank, roll the fabric around the food in the pouch idea, and tie it tight with thread.
Step 2
Rinse the tomatoes in running water. On each of them, make a cruciform incision from the side of the stalk. Pour water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for 30-35 seconds. Then cool the vegetables by dipping them in ice water. This procedure will help peel off the tomato skin easily. Peel and divide each tomato into quarters.
Step 3
Prepare a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Dip the sliced tomato slices into it. Fill the food with granulated sugar. Drain the apple cider vinegar into a saucepan. Add salt and black pepper. Dip a gauze bag with spices into the prepared tomato mixture, bringing out the long end of the rope.
Step 4
Heat food on low heat. At the time of boiling, reduce heat to the very minimum. Cook the jam for 30 minutes, stir occasionally with a wooden spoon. Remove the finished tomato jam from the heat, take out the gauze bag. Divide the hot jam into sterile jars. Roll up with sterile lids, leave the jars upside down to cool.
