Pea soup is one of the most hearty soups. Its zest is smoked meats - ribs, sausages, brisket, etc., which add a unique taste and aroma to the soup. This dish can be easily prepared in a multicooker. Due to long-term simmering, peas are not digested and do not turn into porridge, but at the same time they become very soft and literally melt in the mouth.
It is necessary
- - smoked pork ribs 300 g
- - smoked sausage 100 g
- - whole peas 300 g
- - carrots 120 g
- - potatoes 700 g
- - onions 200 g
- - water 1, 3 liters
- - vegetable oil 30 ml
- - salt and spices
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse peas several times and soak in warm water for 1 hour to swell.
Step 2
Rinse smoked ribs if necessary and separate from each other. They should be small so that it is easier to cook and then eat. Cut the sausage into small strips.
Step 3
Peel and cut the vegetables: potatoes - into cubes or cubes, carrots and onions - into strips.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Fry onions and carrots on it for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. After that, transfer the vegetables to a separate container.
Step 5
Put peas and ribs in a multicooker bowl, fill with water and cook for 2 hours, choosing the "Stew" or "Soup" mode.
Step 6
Half an hour before the end of the cooking process, add potatoes, fried onions and carrots, chopped smoked sausage, salt and spices to the broth. You can also add 2-3 pcs. bay leaf. And to make the soup a brighter color, you need to put a tablespoon of tomato paste in it. When all the ingredients are loaded into the bowl, close the lid of the multicooker and wait for the end of cooking.
Step 7
Sprinkle the finished soup with herbs or decorate with a sprig of parsley separately in each plate. Can be served with croutons.
