You can diversify the traditional pea soup by adding smoked ribs, which will give the dish a special taste and unique aroma. Cooking such a soup in a multicooker is quite simple, and the cooking process itself will take much less time than cooking it on a regular stove.
It is necessary
- - 2 liters of water;
- - 300 g smoked pork ribs;
- - 300 g of polished peas;
- - 2 heads of onions;
- - 2 carrots;
- - 700 g of potatoes;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sunflower oil;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the peas and leave to soak for 1 hour. At this time, cut the carrots and onions into cubes.
Step 2
Pour the sunflower oil into the multicooker bowl, put the chopped vegetables in it and fry them for 15 minutes in the "Fry" mode. This process is best done with the lid closed, stirring occasionally until the end of the regimen. Transfer the prepared soup frying to a separate bowl.
Step 3
Rinse the smoked pork ribs and cut them into pieces.
Step 4
Put the soaked peas, pork ribs in the multicooker bowl and fill with two liters of water. We turn on the "Soup" program for 2 hours.
Step 5
Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into cubes. 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add chopped potatoes, salt to taste and cooked fried carrots and onions to the multicooker container.
Step 6
After finishing cooking, leave the lid of the multicooker closed and let the soup brew a little.
Step 7
Thanks to the smoked ribs, the pea soup is tasty, satisfying and aromatic. This dish can be served with toast or croutons.
