Baking an original delicious cake for a family meal or for the arrival of guests is not an easy task. One of the wonderful simple recipes for such a delicacy is the masterpiece "Ladies fingers". Moreover, there are a lot of options for its preparation and for every taste.
It is necessary

- For the test:
- 375 ml of water;
- 150 g butter or margarine;
- 220 g flour;
- 4-6 eggs;
- ½ tsp salt.
- For the cream:
- 500 ml sour cream 30% or more fat;
- 220g sugar;
- vanillin on the tip of a knife;
- 130g dark chocolate;
- 30 g butter;
- 120g cocoa powder;
- 250 g frozen pitted cherries or any berries of your choice.
Instructions
Step 1
"Fingers":
Bring the water to a boil. Cut the butter into cubes and place them in boiling water. Salt everything and mix well.
Step 2
Sift the flour through a sieve. And add a thin stream to the water, you do not need to remove it from the fire. In this case, the mass must be intensively mixed. When you have a lump of dough, remove the mixture from the heat.
Step 3
Let stand for 5-7 minutes and start hammering in eggs one at a time. In this case, you must constantly knead the dough until you get a homogeneous mass. It is recommended to do this with a mixer or blender, then the mass will be more homogeneous. A properly prepared dough should be a viscous mass.
Step 4
Place oiled baking paper on a baking sheet. Use a cooking bag to form "fingers" around the entire perimeter of the baking sheet. The distance between the pieces should be at least 4-5 cm. Instead of the culinary bag, you can use a pastry syringe or a regular plastic bag with a cut off corner.
Step 5
It is necessary to bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 25-30 minutes. The oven must not be opened for the first 10-15 minutes. Put the finished "fingers" on a dish, cover with a paper napkin and let cool.
Step 6
Cream:
Strain the sour cream if necessary. Add vanillin, sugar to it. Whisk all the ingredients until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved. The consistency of the cream should be smooth and fluffy.
Step 7
Also, a slightly modernized cream will be very tasty. To do this, add 150 g of cocoa powder to the sour cream and mix well. Put on a low heat, and stirring vigorously, heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then cool the resulting mass.
Step 8
Glaze:
Melt the chocolate in a water bath until it is completely dissolved. Add oil, mix well until smooth.
Step 9
Cake making:
Defrost the berries and let the excess water drain.
Step 10
Roll each "finger" in the cream and lay in the form of a braid or arbitrarily to your liking. Place berries between layers.
Step 11
Grease the top of the cake with the remaining cream and cover with icing. Garnish with fresh fruits such as orange and kiwi rings or your favorite berries.
Step 12
Put the finished masterpiece in the refrigerator and keep it there until serving.
